D3x Backlash

I don’t recall ever seeing this many people this unhappy about a new product introduction by Nikon. Both Michael Reichmann and Tom Hogan have published stinging criticisms of the way that the introduction was handled and the price. Read what they have to say here and here. This is in addition to lots of unhappy commentators on the various online fora. All I can say is I guess 4 (D300, D3, D700, D90) out of 5 isn’t too bad.
